Now that T is a bit older, I have more confidence in bringing her out. And nursing her in public, with a scarf to cover up (because I’m such a cheapskate, why buy a nursing cover when I can DIY one myself with an old scarf and cute safety pins 😂). But sometimes, shopping malls are just super convenient because they have baby rooms (well, most of them do).
Atria seems to have baby rooms at every floor wherever there is a washroom. I have tried the ones at Level C and G. The one at C is much bigger and more comfortable, unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures of it.
The baby rooms come equipped with an armchair, changing station, wash basin, hot/cold water dispenser and hand sanitizer. Hmm… I did not check what was inside those cabinets under the counter top though.
The one at G floor (in the pictures) was a bit small and cramped though, and there was a mosquito lurking inside. But that aside, it’s comfortable to nurse a hungry baby in complete privacy (the doors can be locked, this is a major plus point compared to those nursing rooms that use curtains only). I really appreciate the mall’s effort in providing and maintaining such facilities. A thumbs up for them!
The mall is also baby friendly with spacious walkways and restaurants being very accommodating with babies. Definitely one of my favourite hang out places with T now.
